TEACHER

Born in Kyoto, Japan, Nanako Katsura grew up surrounded by music. She started taking piano lessons from the age of six. During junior high and high school, she continued to learn other musical instruments such as Guitar, Bass and Drums.

Nanako graduated from Osaka College of Music in 2012, majoring in pop music. She studied essential vocal techniques, music theory and teaching methodology. While in college she started teaching vocal and piano at many music schools around Kyoto.

At 25, she traveled to Toronto, Canada, spending a year and a half there. During this time, she worked for a music school as a teacher and performed frequently on stage.

After she came back to Japan, she launched KIKI MUSIC SCHOOL to provide enjoyment for students seeking to learn music.
